Just around the corner from the bus stop (long but easy trip from Malaga by bus, we also took a bus to the Caves). Perfect location - easy walking distance to beach, restaurants, tapas bars, shops. Host Julien was there to meet us within minutes, very friendly and informative. The hotel is quirky with a cool vibe, just what we wanted. Full kitchen downstairs for guests' use. Lovely outside area with pool, we were not there long enough to use it, but will book for longer next time! Our room was good, big fan on the wall kept us cool at night. Good shower and comfortable bed. No negatives, would highly recommend.

The owners were delightful, very friendly, super helpful with places to eat and visit, and made us feel very welcome. Location is perfect, down a quiet street but only 5 minutes walk to shops and restaurants and about 10 mins walk to the beach. Rooms are simple but comfortable and clean. We were in a triple room which was cozy but just fine for our stay as we weren’t in the room much. Great communal lounge area and kitchen plus a terrace and small pool. Pretty historic building with lovely furnishings and art work, a lot of love has gone into this property. We loved Nerja and Boutique Hostal Lorca, we will be back.

Boutique Hostal Lorca is a converted townhouse about 10 minutes walk from Nerja centre and the Balcon de Europa. Our room was beautiful, with a little balcony overlooking the garden and pool. All rooms are en-suite. The bed was so comfortable. There is a shared little kitchen and communal area where guests can put their things in the fridge, and can make tea, coffee and snacks. The garden has been really well-thought out, with an excellent little pool, ideal for cooling off after a day exploring the area in the heat of summer! In spite of being a terraced townhouse in a street, the whole place was calm and peaceful, and ideal place to chill out. The decor is an eclectic mix of items collected by the owners on their travels over the years, with a lot of Moroccan influence, just like our own house! And indeed, the owners, Amber and Julien, are such lovely, lovely people! We had a great welcome, nothing was too much trouble for them. It was my birthday while we were there, and apart from writing a big "Happy birthday!" message for me on the hotel's blackboard, our hosts left us a bottle of very good cava, in an ice bucket, in our room! Very, very thoughtful - these are the things that elevate an okay stay somewhere to an excellent one. Thank you so much Amber and Julien! We had an amazing stay at Boutique Hostal Lorca – a truly charming place that exceeded all our expectations. The location is perfect: just a short stroll from the beach, restaurants, and the picturesque old town, yet tucked away in a quiet street that ensures restful nights. The hostal itself is beautifully decorated, with a cozy and stylish atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. Our room was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful – you can really feel they put their heart into making this place special. They gave us great recommendations for local spots and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definetly come back and highly recommend Boutique Hostal Lorca to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic stay in Nerja.

Gorgeous place, peaceful with great location. Free parking 5 minutes walk away, beach 10 mins walk, huge choice of restaurants and bars close by. Supermarket & bakery around the corner. Jules & Amber were the perfect hosts, friendly, helpful and incredibly informative. Great to have a kitchen (with fridge, toaster etc) and attached sitting room. Opens on to pretty plant filled 2 tier terrace with lots of comfy seating and tables and chairs around the pool. Huge comfy bed, plenty of hot water, and unusually - enough hangers! We plan on returning as soon as we can.
